    FAQs

    Frequently asked questions

Welcome to our FAQ page, where we’ve compiled answers to the most commonly asked questions to help you find the information you need quickly and easily.

Do Timberlook flush casement windows include the traditional uPVC diagonal weld ‘lines’?

No, Timberlook windows do not feature diagonal joints. Instead, we achieve the appearance of traditional timber ‘butt joint’ manufacturing using state-of-the-art Timberweld technology.

What colours are Timberlook flush sash windows and doors available in?

We offer a choice of 10 colours in addition to standard white frames. You can request a sample swatch of all the colours, or an offcut of a single colour for your trade project.

Can Timberlook windows feature an external bar to give the appearance of individual panes of glass?

Yes, the external bar is a narrow 22mm width, chamfered on the outside and ovolo on the inside, designed to cater to older properties with smaller windows. Choose from a horizontal ‘cottage bar’, a full grid, simple cross, or a custom design.

How can I get a quote for my trade project?

For pricing and quotations, please fill in your details on our contact page, and a member of our team will be happy to assist.

My installation is in a conservation area – will Timberlook uPVC windows comply with local planning guidelines?

Our windows are designed to match the look and dimensions of traditional timber windows, meaning they are often accepted for use in conservation areas. The local conservation officer may require dimensions and a sample, which we’re happy to help you with.

My installation is a new build – will Timberlook windows comply with new regulations?

Yes, Timberlook windows comply with document L for thermal efficiency and document Q for enhanced security, meaning they are fully compatible for new build projects.

Can Timberlook windows be customised to fit non-standard window openings?
