New England Cladding with Timberlook Windows

This home has been transformed with New England style cladding, in the traditional horizontal half wrap. Complete with a bold blue and arctic white colour scheme, and a suite of Timberlook Flush Casement windows, the property could easily have been plucked from the American east coast.

Even though installation and building work is still underway, we just could not wait to share some photos from this exciting renovation project here in the North West. Here are a few some photos and details from the team on site.

Outside, the façade looked outdated and boxy, but this combination of wood effect weatherboard and timber look window frames adds a touch of class and kerb appeal. The aesthetic continues throughout, with contemporary styling that is right on trend. For the renovation to be successful, the owners needed an authentic looking window system. That’s where Timberlook came in. With a range of textured woodgrain finishes, our PVCu flush sash is almost identical to the wooden windows that were initially considered – but require lower maintenance and were a lot cheaper than some original quotes.

With traditional yet timeless flush casement designs, Timberlook makes the perfect window and door system for properties of all ages and styles. We hand-build window frames the proper way, with mechanically jointed corners that look like original mortise and tenon joints. Create even more faithful replicas of wooden windows but adding deep bottom rails or astragal ‘cottage bars’. We even have a range of cill options that can suit installation into a variety of materials like brick, block or stone!
