25 Years of Manufacturing

Affordable Windows have now been manufacturing windows, doors and conservatories to the trade for 25 years! Initially working from a small unit in Poulton-le-Fylde with 20 staff, Affordable now employs over 250 people and manufacture across two dedicated factories for PVCu and Aluminium.

AWS delivers nationally every week, on a fleet of 46 commercial vehicles, from our factories on the Fylde coast and via a midlands transport hub. We also now have 5 trade counters and outlets in the north. The factory space alone totals 140,000 square feet, and 4 different systems are fabricated – from standard PVCu frames, to the Heritage Flush Sash, and to a wide range of aluminium bi-fold doors and windows.

Quality of service, manufacture and delivery are all of the utmost importance and our own key performance indicators show an OTIF of 99%. As all of our original directors are still in place, and most of those staff, the knowledge that enables us to test new products, manufacturing methods and explore new ideas has been kept in the firm.
